You will need to have focus on product stability, strong programming skills, a deep understanding of cloud technologies, data centers and distributed systems architecture, as well as excellent communication and planning skills. Most of your focus will be on creating new DevOps tools/applications, working on CI/CD pipelines, developing new services to improve our code stability, as well as operational duties such as monitoring deployed applications for reliability and performance.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide target cloud subject matter expertise and experience to drive the technical recommendations
- Perform analysis of all received documentation and architectural diagrams
- Participate in requirements, design, and configuration working sessions
- Perform target cloud platform audit and analysis
- Provide recommendations for remediation of identified gaps
- Provide content for all deliverables
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, another technical field.
- 10+ years of overall DevOps experience
- Solid experience with Azure and Azure tools, including: ARM Template, Azure Portal, Azure Command, Azure CLI, Azure API Azure IaaS, etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for services.
- Experience enabling automation with tools like Jenkins and Ansible/Chef/Puppet.
- Experience with setting up monitoring and alerting for services.
- Experience with build and test frameworks.
