WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor to our clients, and partner with them to understand their requirements for cloud implementations.
- Provide recommendations to clients with respect to cloud migrations and prepare technical implementation roadmaps for Azure adoption.
- Create functional design specifications, reference architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as needed.
- Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on Azure that address customer’s requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with other project teams on technical solutions and help improve our service IP.
- Learn, learn, and learn by staying up-to-date on all technical developments related to Azure.
- Travel and work onsite at client locations (typically 50%).
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Extensive Enterprise Architecture experience architecting, designing and migrating workloads to Azure.
- Azure certifications: Azure 533, 534 and AZ-30
- 10+ years of Enterprise architect or Senior technical consultant roles experience as a technical specialist in multiple application areas.
- 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications.
- 5+ years across Enterprise IT in multiple of the following areas: Infrastructure architecture; Database architecture; IP Networking; Zero downtime migrations, IT Security; Data Center Operations, Cloud operating model, Software design or development
- 5+ Experience architecting highly available, resilient, fault tolerant systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal/vertical scaling and high availability
- 3+ years of expertise in private and public Cloud Computing, technologies and architectural best practices.
- 3+ years of Azure expertise in VM and Database migration with the best DevOps practices..
